Becoming a parent has given me a whole new appreciation for what I do as a designer. One of the hardest parts of new parenthood is that there’s no single source of truth — just endless advice and options from every direction. For every “yes,” there’s a “no.” You just want one person who understands your whole situation and can guide you through it.

That’s what I do for my clients — take in all the moving parts, preferences, and possibilities, and turn it into one clear path forward.

This Brooklyn Heights en suite used to be so gloomy and awkward, the clients avoided it altogether. With a tiny footprint, every inch of the remodel had to be intentional.

I designed a curved glass partition to replace the old shower curtain, echoing that shape in a custom mirror to amplify light and openness. The compact sink offers just enough counter space and basin depth for daily use. Soft geometric tile spans the window wall, bouncing light, drawing the eye up, and making the space feel more expansive.

Now it’s sophisticated and modern—and my clients no longer have to use their kids’ bathroom! 🙌

I love wallpaper in a powder bath, and these charming swans were the perfect touch for this new construction home. Built with luxe fixtures—a marble vanity and chrome details—it only needed wallpaper and styling to feel complete.

In this family bath remodel, I surprised my clients by suggesting they replace the window. The old window had thick, bulky framing that reduced the glass area. Without altering the exterior wall, we increased the window size and instantly brightened the space.

To make the bathroom feel even larger, we chose a floating vanity, upsized the medicine cabinet, eliminated unnecessary bumpouts, selected brighter lighting, and replaced the shower curtain with a sleek glass enclosure.
