Baruch Italian Culture Club ICC

Baruch Italian Culture Club ICC The aim of this club is to expand students’ knowledge of Italy, its culture, and its language in a creative and entertaining way.

The Italian Culture Club ICC is a platform for Baruch students who are interested in the Italian language and culture to join and interact with other students who share similar interests. Each club meeting focuses on a different general topic so as to expand students’ knowledge of Italy over time. Cultural meetings include guest speakers, regional food, movies or video clips, and/or informational

presentations. Language-centered meetings give students the opportunity to practice Italian speaking skills with each other, the executive board members, and professors. Club meetings are paired with group outings (to museums, restaurants, or movies) to provide further insight into the Italian language and culture.

Next week will be International Education Week. Baruch College has the most diverse student body of North America and we, at ICC, want to celebrate all of our origins.

Please stop by the 2nd floor of the NVC on Tuesday and pin the country from which you have roots. We'll be waiting for you there with Italian cookies!
