Lucy is a four-year-old with a wild imagination. Unfortunately, her imaginary friend Mr. Marmalade does not make any time for her, which may actually be a good thing considering he abuses his personal assistant Bradley, has a cocaine addiction, a vast pornography collection, and a cornucopia of dildos. Lucy’s friend Larry is the youngest suicide attempt in the history of New Jersey, but meeting he

r has taken him out of his manic depression, and Lucy realizes that she deserves better than Mr. Marmalade has ever given her. This savage black comedy explores the battle of innocence versus toxicity and reminds us how fast kids are growing up nowadays. This is a FreeStage production from Illinois State University.
