New shirts!! Mad props to our friends at Lehigh Valley Apparel Creations (LVAC), and many thanks to Jake for putting together some stellar retro artwork for us! You might recognize this scene from our hoodies that we released last fall. We wanted to make sure we got a summer run in for folks to enjoy! They're in our snack bar now, and they'll be on our web store soon. We'll make an announcement when those links go live, but I just couldn't wait to share!

MOANA comes to port for another week at Shankweiler's! After intermission, our encore showing of TOY STORY 5 returns for another round of screenings!
Friday, July 24: The Jeep Enthusiasts of Eastern Pennsylvania join us for their annual gathering at the drive-in! McCall Collective Brewing Co. will also be here ahead of the movies with an assortment of refreshing, locally crafted beverages for our 21+ audience. Meals on Wheels of the Lehigh Valley will also be at the theater with information about their services.

Sunday, July 26: Both Moana and Toy Story 5 will be presented with complete Open Captions, thanks to our friends at Service Electric and the Service Electric Network!

Tuesday, July 28: Our Retro Tuesday series continues with a special screening of SPIRIT: STALLION OF THE CIMARRON! This event is in partnership with Equi-Librium, nonprofit farm in Nazareth PA providing unique and accessible equine-assisted therapy services

Yesterday Lauren stopped by the Bethlehem Blueberry Festival before heading to the theater and had a lot of fun watching live music, flower pressing and blacksmithing, shopping at local vendors, and eating blueberry pie. We're happy to support our friends at Historic Bethlehem Museums & Sites!

Thank you to Sydney Hargrove and Secret NYC for highlighting our theater as a daytrip from New York! We are easily accessible from major highways like I-78 and the PA Turnpike (NE Extension), making us a unique destination for people looking for activities outside our neighboring cities.

Looking to make a weekend of it? Consider visiting other local attractions like Dorney Park, Musikfest (in August), Historic Bethlehem - a UNESCO World Heritage site, an IronPigs baseball game, and all kinds of museums throughout the greater Lehigh Valley.

This world-record 1934 drive-in movie theater just a short trip from Manhattan was just voted the best in America.

When I (Lauren) went to CinemaCon in Las Vegas in April, we got to see a preview of Moana (presented by our Lehigh Valley hometown hero, The Rock)! Later on, there was an award show and the titular star, Catherine Laga'aia, received a Rising Star award for her work in the movie. It was her first movie, first award, first press tour. I was sitting a couple seats away from her and her family and I saw how excited and proud they all were. That stuck with me, and I think about it every time I see the trailer. I am emotionally invested in this movie now, and I hope you will be too!

Weather Update, July 16: This is our final night for Minions & Monsters followed by 1999's The Mummy, and we've been getting calls from folks excited to catch the show tonight. Air quality conditions have been fluctuating all day. We plan to show the movies, but we will be running at a reduced operating capacity for the welfare of our crew. Only one of our two snack bar order windows will be open, and some hot food items (such as burgers and fries) may be unavailable.

Online ticket-holders: If you are unable to attend tonight's showing due to the air quality conditions, please contact us before showtime for a reschedule or refund, and we will happily accommodate you.

We may make adjustments to our operating plan, so keep an eye on our social media for continued updates.
