If you believe the myth that the British are polite and reserved -- ha! This wild movie will make you realize otherwise! In fact, there are times that the loud and raucous characters are so over-the-top that it might be too much for some viewers. The vehicle showcases the wonderful talents of the main characters: Brenda Blethyn, Jim Broadbent, Michael Caine, Jane Horrocks, Ewan McGregor, and an excellent line-up of supporting cast members. These excellent actors take you on a ride of extremes: from rough and hard-edged, to poignant and lyric vulnerability. Have fun!
