Evening (after 6pm) prices are $8.50/adult; $6.50/children 11 and under; $6.50/senior 60 and older. Join our VIP club and receive 10 anytime/any combination admissions for $60. Then participate in the VIP community by reviewing the films in the theater!

Before we play our final movie on Sept. 1st, we want to say THANK YOU for 17 years of films and fun by offering $5 movies for all films, all ages, and all showtimes (8/29-9/1) including the 50th anniversary re-release of Jaws!

This post is dedicated to our wonderful staff. Since we announced last week that we will be permanently closing our doors after Labor Day, we've been overwhelmed with kind words and well-wishes. We truly appreciate it!

With that said, it's our staff that has opened the doors, popped the popcorn, cleaned up after you (no easy task!), maintained the equipment, handled emergencies, and made sure the show went on EVERY SINGLE DAY for 17 years!

So, if you make it out for one last show over the next couple weeks, show the staff some love. (Especially our manager Grady, who we think has worked 1,323 consecutive days 😛😛)

We've had a blast going to the movies with you, Lakes Area, but today we are announcing that Sunset Cinema will be closing permanently after Labor Day weekend. Our last day will be Monday, September 1st.

We are sooooo thankful for your patronage over the last 17 years and while we are sad we won't get another seventeen more, we are proud to have been part of your community! We've still got a few more weeks before we say our final goodbye and we'd love to see you all. Stop on in for one final movie (or three) and some REAL buttered popcorn (and no, you can't make it just as good at home😜) and let's enjoy the last few weeks of summer in the Lakes Area together!
