Congratulations to Katie McKinstry and Marc Badger, the first two members to earn their 1,000 Lap Club t-shirts this season. Katie proudly carried on the family tradition, representing her parents, Nancy and John - two familiar names that always seem to top the leaderboard each summer! 🏊‍♂️🏊‍♀️

Rain or shine, the tradition continues!
Today’s first plunge into the 71st season of Swarthmore Swim Club may have looked a little different due to rain & chilly temps, but our management team and Board members were excited to kick off another summer at the pool.
Our staff is ready and eager to welcome members back home to SSC! 🩵

Thank you to our members & staff for donating a beautiful Saturday morning to the Swim Club, we cannot believe how much was accomplished! The entire community will appreciate the fruits of your efforts: powerwashed loungers, pruned & planted garden beds, fresh paint, a more freely-flowing creek, the Shark Shack ready to go, and a cleaned-off roof, among so many other improvements! The Swim Club would be nothing without its members, and we appreciate that you've gone the extra mile by contributing your time, talent, and energy to this beloved space.

An extra shout out to the several volunteers who just joined the Swim Club this year. Thank you for jumping in with two feet, as it were. We can't wait for you to take your first actual swim!
