Salem Movies in the Park Join us July 10, 24, Aug 7, 21 for family friendly movies in Salem’s Riverfront Park, Gerry Frank | Rotary Amphitheater. Movies start soon after dusk.

Thank you to our 2026 Director Sponsor Oregon Specialty Group. Salem's Movies in the Park is a free summer outdoor film series shown in Salem's Riverfront Park along the Willamette River. (Note that dusk varies throughout the summer, so check your almanacs for sunset times and plan accordingly.) Some people show up as early as 7pm to enjoy the park and have a picnic before the show. Others show up

as the movie starts. Your choice. We always start with some old cartoons, shorts or other retro clips to entertain until it is dark enough for the featured movie. Thank you for coming out and enjoying Salem's Movies in the Park! Salem's Movies in the Park was started in 2008 by a collaboration with the City of Salem, Hazel Patton, Jeff Hart, an Anonymous Donor, The Shutterbug, and Allied Video Productions. A large 22 feet by 13.5 foot inflatable screen was purchased and donated to the City of Salem. All movies are leased and authorized for screening through Swank Motion Pictures. The movies have continued with generous sponsors and supporters, and through generous donations from the viewers.

The last Movie of the season is this Friday! What?! We are ending the series with Zootopia 2!

The movie begins at sunset, about 8:10 p.m. Bring low back chairs to sit on or blankets.

Food vendors will include Tacos la Soledad, Little Caesars, The Pop Stop, and Popcorn Fetti.

Donations are encouraged to cover the cost of the movie rights and are accepted at the entrance to the Gerry Frank - Salem Rotary Amphitheater

This is an alcohol free event (it is not permitted to have alcohol so don't bring it) and as a reminder, smoking/va**ng is not allowed in the park.

How many of you be joining us tonight for How to Train Your Dragon?!!!

The movie begins at sunset, about 8:30 p.m.
Food vendors will arrive at 6:30 p.m. and include: Little Caesars, Tacos La Soledad, The Pop Stop, and Popcorn Fetti.

We will be selling our new Parks and Rec Merch as well for $15 per shirt.

Donations encouraged to cover the cost of the movie rights and are accepted at the entrance to the Gerry Frank - Salem Rotary Amphitheater.

The Pop Stop, Popcorn Fetti, Tacos La Soledad, and Little Caesars are the approved food vendors.

Bring low back chairs and blankets.

Reminder: Alcohol, smoking and va**ng are not allowed in city parks.
