The last month of summer approaches the Balboa Theater!

Starting this Friday, we will be alternating between digital and film (35mm) screenings of THE ODYSSEY. John Carpenter's THE FOG (1980) will be rolling in on Friday, followed by THE LAST UNICORN on Saturday along with our monthly ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW screening featuring Rocky Horror SF • B***y Caste . Samurai Sundays presents LOAN WOLF AND CUB: BABY CART IN PERIL. Monday we got Gallery 3630 screening WHO ARE YOU POLLY MAGGOO?, and Tuesday we have our monthly Warped VHS screening with THE BIG HIT. Wednesday we got THE LOVERS ON THE BRIDGE brought to you by Kyle's Styles, and on Thursday we have the Girlie Movie Club presented by Dot Comme , screening the 90s classic SPICE WORLD.

Camp Balboa returns at the Balboa Theater with a double feature to celebrate Mr. Puss in Boots, Zorro himself—Antonio Banderas! The iconic Spy Kids plays at 5 pm before Tie Me Up, Tie Me Down at 7 pm. One for the kids (or adults who still dream of being super spies) & one for the freaks... Chef Rayna will be joining us again with birthday cake slices available to purchase. Flavors & ingredient details will be revealed before the screening, and like past dessert pop-ups, presale will be available beforehand and limited onsite at the screening. 🎂🎉🎞️
