The Texas State Strutters are the first precision dance team formed at a four-year university and is currently the largest in the nation. Since 1960, Strutters have served as ambassadors for Texas State University on state, national and international levels with performances in 26 countries spanning 4 continents. One of the most impressive honors was their selection as the first U.S. Other highlig

hts include: three Presidential Inaugural Parades, numerous NFL & NBA halftime performances, the nationally televised Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade®, MTV’s Total Request Live, a national television commercial for Coca-Cola, appearances in five movies, and “America’s Got Talent.”

The Texas State Strutters are heading to Washington, D.C. for two major Independence Week appearances! The team will perform at the Lincoln Memorial on July 3 at 2:30 PM, and will also take part in the National Independence Parade, the official July 4th parade of the United States, stepping off at 10:30 AM on July 4. It’s an incredible opportunity for the Strutters to represent Texas on a national stage during one of the country’s most celebrated patriotic events.♥️🤍💙
