The non-profit American Cinematheque programs new and classic movies on the big screen at the 1940 Aero Theatre in Santa Monica. The Aero, built by Donald Douglas of aircraft industry fame as a real estate investment, was always a popular neighborhood theatre. The Aero is home to the annual Halloween Dusk-to-Dawn Horrorthon and has been hosts to many screenings with in person guests, including Paul Thomas Anderson, Christopher Nolan, Jerry Lewis, Shirley MacLaine, Greta Gerwig and Jordan Peele to name a few! Stop by to pick up a calendar. Become a member or volunteer, or just drop in to see a movie!
