Edgar Kennedy in FISH FEATHERS (1932) Part 2
(click fesfilms.com/fish2.htm to view)
Edgar's family fishing expedition evolves into chaos with doses of slapstick when the family sets up camp on the big fishing boat. In the process, Edgar's boasting about his fishing skills and aquatic prowess are totally debunked. Tom Kennedy (no relation to Edgar) has an uncredited role as Captain of the fishing boat. This is one of several collaborations with Edgar's close friend, veteran comedy actor, writer and director Harry Sweet. Harry worked with Edgar on three more "Average Man" shorts before dying six months later in a plane crash in Big Bear, California. Ron Hall wrote about his personal discovery of Edgar's work in a 2013 blog article you can read at:https://fesfilms.com/edblog.pdf
Enjoy the conclusion of Edgar's 1932 short "Fish Feathers" and then join us again next Saturday when we will present one of Edgar and Harry's funniest collaborations.
