We have been working over the past week removing all non essentials from the building. This of course includes our vast collection of movie posters which will need to be put in storage. If you would like to purchase posters it will be first come first serve. Posters will be between $1 - $5. We will be at South Hill Cinemas between 12 noon and 4pm this weekend and monday. Don't forget your MASK!

Friends and Family of South Hill Cinemas, as many of you have heard we will not be reopening. The movie industry as a whole is in a very shaky place these days (thanks Covid) and a smaller venue like ours cannot hang on for the situation to improve. Like many of you our bills have not stopped or slowed and it's simply not possible to remain in this kind of financial limbo for an indefinite amount of time. It has been an amazing journey and we will miss all of you. Thank you for all of the love and support over the years.

In accordance with Governor Northam's mandate that all restaurants, fitness centers, and theaters reduce capacity to no more than 10 patrons or close, South Hill Cinemas has decided to close. As soon as we have new information we will let all of our customers know. We appreciate your continued patronage and hope that you all remain safe and well.
