Tallahassee West Coast Swing Dancers Dance Workshops and Social Dance Tallahassee West Coast Swing Dancers meet monthly at Fred Astaire Studio
located at 1139 E. Tennessee Street Tallahassee, FL.

Saturday night, dates vary
from month to month. Workshop 7-8 p.m. taught by Rick Weston, Swing Dance
pro from Orlando. Dancing starts at 8 p.m. All levels of dancers are invited and
encouraged to attend. $10 for workshop and $10 for dance, or $15 for both. Great music and friendly dancers. Come join us. Private lessons are also available
from Rick Weston during the weekend. To schedule a lesson you may call Rick at

Glen Ritchie sent me the following email, which I really appreciate: "Saturday’s mix of dance music was really enjoyable. Several people commented about how much they enjoyed the variety. I hope you do the same next month." We had one of our biggest crowds Saturday night, so we plan to keep playing the same 60/40 mix, which is a rotation of 3 west coast (with 1 blues) and 2 country western (including a 2 step, triple-2 or shuffle). Please post any thoughts you have about the music. Our next dance is August 24, with 2 great exhibitions.

Tomorrow is the BIG DAY. Rick will be here giving private lessons followed by a workshop at 7:00 and our dance at 8:00. Attention country western dancers: We are going back to a music mix of approximately 60% west coast and approximately 40% country western. See you tomorrow night at Fred Astaire.
