As part of our Pride Month programming we’re screening the campy, cult, horror sequel heralded as “the gayest Horror film ever made” by The Village Voice. There will be some post-credits trivia where you will have the chance to win concert tickets for any upcoming show at Ferg’s in St. Pete(including “Dream Warriors” rockers, Dokken and Totally Tubular Fest), movie passes for a future screening at Sun-Ray and other Elm Street/Horror related swag. I’ve been after Mr. Smith since 2008 after Herschell Gordon Lewis kicked off my first with a screening of 2000 Maniacs. I recall bugging producer John Pierson to pass along a note of interest for Mr. Smith to join us but he told me he would never do a Talkies. Take that, John! 🙂
