A little rain can’t stop the mermaid magic! 🧜‍♀️✨

We are making a whole weekend of mermaids! Because of the rain forecast, the outdoor Sleepy Hollow Mermaid Festival has moved to Sunday, 7/19 (1–5 PM at Kingsland Point Park).

But Saturday with Sleepy Hollow Cinema is still on! Escape the raindrops and join us indoors at The Lyceum on Saturday, 7/18 for a double feature of The Little Mermaid (5 PM) and Splash (7:30 PM).

🎬 CALL FOR ENTRIES: Sleepy Hollow FrightFest!

Every great horror filmmaker started somewhere. We want that somewhere to be Sleepy Hollow.

Sleepy Hollow Cinema is proud to present our First Annual Student Film Festival — and we're calling on student filmmakers here in our community and across the country to submit their short horror films and screen their work in the most famously haunted village in America. This is where the genre was practically born. Now it's where the next generation gets its start.

Got a story that keeps people up at night? Sleepy Hollow is waiting. 🎃

We are thrilled to host the Westchester Debut of “Our Hero, Balthazar” on Friday, July 24th!

Named one of “The Best Movies of 2026 (So Far)” by Variety and sitting at a Certified Fresh 93% on Rotten Tomatoes, this is the sharp, conversation-starting film everyone is talking about.

The 2025 dark comedy “Our Hero, Balthazar” follows a wealthy, attention-seeking Manhattan teenager who, eager to impress an activist crush, catfishes an online troll. Convinced the troll is a potential mass shooter, Balthazar travels to rural Texas to befriend the boy and prevent a tragedy, leading to disastrous consequences.
