Greetings EndWarriors,

I've owed you this update for a while, but without anything positive or substantial to announce, it was an easy thing in our world of consistent inconsistencies to put off. That said, I want you to know where we're at right now, including the obvious.

First, EndWar 2021 didn't happen/isn't happening. I mentioned this a few other places, but should have posted here and I am sorry.
Penn State is working on its own HvZ relationship with its university as well due to pandemic related delays and as such was unable to be our partner. This was almost a relief because while the game is planned and ready to go, attendees and volunteers alike are still reeling from the complexities of the actual apocalypse we've been living in for the past...gosh has it been almost 2 years already. By the time the ability to run the game was impossible, we had already exhausted the clock in terms of being able to give players an adequate timeline to prepare in any sense. If it helps, I do believe it was for the best in this instance, even if it was heartbreaking for us.

To that end, we want to deliver a safe and welcoming EndWar experience. I firmly believe that the day we get to welcome you all for grand foam flinging fun is on the horizon and we are in talks with a new university for a 2022 date in June. I hope to have that as in place as any event organizer can in the next 4-6 weeks and follow up with another post locking it in. In a similar timeline we hope to have the upcoming Foam Pro Tour qualifier dates posted as well. We have been hard at work trying to make sure that there is a plan for us to return to large scale in person play. To that end, we have been doing our best to monitor the pandemic, its variants and how it relates to EndWar as well as smaller events.

The one thing that is abundantly clear is that vaccination is going to be very important. With widespread availability and FDA approval, major events are having success using it as the backbone of their safety precautions and I would anticipate we will see more of that in the coming months. To that end, All I can ask is that you continue to be safe and look out for one another. Our most precious resource is one another, on and off the battlefield.

Hey there everyone!

Just wanted to give you all a quick little update concerning the Invitational.

After careful consideration, the PSUGC Executive Board has made the decision that to give you, the players, the best possible experience, we will have the DnD themed HvZ Invitational in Spring 2021. And we tentatively have a date picked out ;)

Pending official University approval, the 2020(+1) Penn State HvZ Invitational will be held TENTATIVELY on MARCH 27TH-28TH!

URGENT MESSAGE FROM THE UGC

Due to Penn State cancelling all operations within the time frame of March 13th to April 6th, they have required us to postpone our Invitational. While we are aware of the problems this causes for our travellers, we hope to see you at our new date, April 11th. We were forced to move this event by the University, all complaints can be directed towards them. We are just trying to provide as much as we can for all involved. We hope to see you at our new date.
