We here at Vista Films International want to encourage you to move the Word in your culture by producing the things that will reflect your passion. The things that God has set on your heart which will inspire the world.

Refuge From the Storm was actually started 30 years ago birthed from that very same passion and inspiration. At a bible study, while going over the Word, a man told an audience of people that "someone should put this stuff on a video one day." No grand speech. No fireworks, No hooting and hollering. Just an off the cuff idea spoken out loud seeded the idea and inspiration to make it happen. Simple, but said with passion, and conviction.

Visual imagery and music inspire people to believe. Here is one example in the bible. The beauty and detail of Solomons temple and the love for God that it was built with resulted in something so awesome that eyewitnesses that saw it said that it took their breath away. Just casting their eyes on It refreshed their soul and opened their heart to want to know more about the God that was at work in those peoples lives.

You and I can produce things that have the same effect. If God puts something on your heart, He will have, at your disposal, all of the elements it will take to bring your project to pass. God will also inspire you on the techniques and mediums to use. It took skilled people from many different professions who loved God to complete the temple. You may need help also.

Johann Sebastian Bach said; The aim and final end of all music should be none other than the Glory of God and the refreshment of the soul.

That should be true of all forms of art, and with that goal in mind our work will inspire people to love God greater and encourage them to more worthy endeavors.

It would be wonderful to have feedback on what others are doing in the field of the fine arts. Let us know what you have been working on so we can believe together to inspire our cultures through the arts.
