Incorporating vintage pieces into my projects is a step I never skip as a designer. The juxtaposition of antique and contemporary elements brings a depth of character to any space that simply cannot be replicated. I’m especially drawn to sculptural vintage lighting and Murano glass decorative objects—an affinity that inspired me to personally curate a collection of unique vintage pieces available at our Los Angeles showroom and on our website.

Thoughtful design is not only about choosing beautiful pieces, but it often entails tailoring them to your client’s specific needs. Here, we customized our Gemma Cabinet to hold a sink. The result is a piece of furniture that feels seamless, intentional, and completely unique to the space—and to the client who gets to enjoy it everyday.

Introducing the Passage Bench & Stool, the fourth release of our NB Drops program, exclusive to our LA Flagship Showroom.  NB Drops is an ongoing series of individually designed and produced furniture pieces created in our workshop, The Artisan Workroom, located in Downtown LA. These pieces are not confined to release with our formal collections—instead, the program takes advantage of our vertically integrated practice and fosters the freedom to design, prototype, and release new furniture when inspiration strikes. NB Drops allows our workroom and showroom to operate in close dialogue, bringing clients directly into the creative process. The result is greater transparency in how our pieces are made, support for local artisans, and a more thoughtful, lower-impact approach to production.
