Hello, Moviegoers! I know it has been quite a while since any updates have gone out, and I apologize immensely for that. I've been trying for the last year and a half to get the classic series up and running again, but I've run into obstacles at every step. With restructuring, shutdowns, reduced attendance, hiring and retention trouble, and a handful of other issues it's just been too difficult or too irresponsible to revive the series at the Waterfront. I would like to thank everyone that reached out with their inquiries, comments, and thoughts during this period—it definitely felt good to know how much the series means to some of you, and it kept me from giving up on the struggle.

Unfortunately I still can't provide everyone with the good news I was hoping for. The Waterfront 22 theatre is not going to be able to start the classic series again until I get approval from a number of different people. I do, however, have some possible alternative options that we've been thinking about. Before moving forward with anything, however, I was hoping to get some input from everyone to see if it would even be worth considering.

Thanks to some of the restructuring I mentioned I currently have access to both the AMC South Hills Village 10 theatre, and the AMC Classic Mount Lebanon 6 theatre. I may be able to get the series running again on a smaller scale temporarily at one or both of these locations (possibly even with earlier matinee showtimes). If there is any interest in this venture, please feel free to leave a comment below or message us directly with your input. I will try to keep everyone updated on the situation as it unfolds.

Thank you... I hope to see everyone again soon at the movies!

Hello? Is anyone out there?

Well, if there is, we finally have some news for you! Just in time for the holiday season AMC has confirmed some exciting holiday classics for us! I know it's been quite a while, and times are still very much uncertain for many of us, but we have been trying very hard to figure out a way to keep this series alive at the Waterfront. Some of you have likely already seen the new procedures and policies AMC has implemented to keep our theatres safe and clean, and we've managed to come up with a plan to work those same policies into the scheduling of our classic shows.

Later this afternoon showtimes for December will be posted, and if any of you are interested in attending please be mindful of the following: AMC is still operating with limited occupancy which means shows may sell out faster than normal. Extra showtimes will be added if this happens, so no showing will be in a full auditorium. Keep in mind, however, that extra showtimes may not fall within the same 7:30pm time slot to allow us to alleviate foot traffic in our lobbies and hallways. Masks are required in our theatres unless you are in your assigned auditorium with concessions.

Most of all: please be considerate to everyone attending and everyone working during these times. We're trying our best to make things comfortable and safe for everyone, so we hope you'll join us in our attempts at making this another joyous holiday season.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to us directly on this page... Showtimes will be up shortly. As always, we hope to see you at the movies!

Hello moviegoers! I know it's been quite a while, so I hope everyone has been doing well and staying safe these past few months.

I'm sure many of you may be wondering what will be happening with the classic series in the coming weeks with AMC opening their doors... Well, I'm here to give you all some updates on the matter.

First of all: Our final scheduled film, Gone With The Wind, has unfortunately been cancelled. AMC has made a lot of difficult decisions during this opening period, and with a lot of moving pieces at play it just wasn't in the stars to jump-start the classic series right away. Tickets for this final show should have already been refunded... If any of you have any issues regarding refunds please give the theater a call directly. They should be able to assist or at least direct you to the proper channels.

Second: I cannot say for certain when the series will pick up again. Things are a little up in the air at the moment as management at the Waterfront has been moved around a bit, so we're still waiting to see how things are going to be with both the new structure and the new protocols.

If any changes occur or if I learn any new information about the future of the classic series I will surely keep you all updated. As always feel free to reach out and message us directly if you have any questions or concerns regarding the series. I will try my best to answer any questions you may have.

With that, I wish you all well, and I truly hope to see you all again soon. Stay safe!

Hello moviegoers. I apologize for the delayed response regarding our current situation. I was not able to make it into the theatre until today, so I was waiting until I had concrete information to pass along. Currently we are closed until further notice at the Waterfront. Tickets for our upcoming shows should automatically be refunded if you purchased through the app or on amctheatres.com. If you purchased them in theatre, however, we'll have to try and work something out once things go back to normal; I urge you to save any tickets you may have purchased so we can properly compensate you whenever that is.

As for any classic shows that do get cancelled... I will attempt to reschedule them in the future if possible. We may end up doubling up during the week if need be. Thank you for your understanding and patience once again... And if you have any questions, please feel free to ask, but I will likely be unable to assist with any in-theatre issues as I will not be here often in the upcoming weeks. I encourage you all to seek assistance through the AMC theatres website directly if you need any immediate help.

Hello moviegoers! I thought I'd publish a quick update on our current status regarding our business under the stress of these challenging times. AMC theatres has reduced the maximum seating capacity by half in ALL THEATRES. It is an automatic update in our systems that will lock out shows once they reach the normal halfway point. This will include all classic showings. However, as of now, we are still open here at the Waterfront and our classic series is still running. If you decide that you still wish to come see our movies then please consider the seating situation as it means shows may sell out faster than normal.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to comment here or message us directly. If there are any further changes affecting upcoming shows or business operations I will try my best to keep everyone updated. Thank you for your time and understanding! I'll see you all at the movies.
