A Little Bit About Us...

The Blue Ridge Movie Lounge is a small business built by locals, for locals, for friends of the High Country, and anyone who loves Ashe County as much as we do.

We are a full service movie theater with a few special twists. Instead of a traditional theater, we offer:

-Couches, recliners, and comfortable seating as you enjoy great films!

-A broad assortment of refreshments and snacks including traditional movie theater popcorn and soda, but also unique drinks like Green Apple Soda, Ginger Beer, Yoo Hoo, Coffee, Tea, and even local chocolates, wines and hard ciders if you choose.

-We love sharing! Rent our space for a unique, exciting event in your very own MOVIE THEATER. We do: birthdays, celebrations, trainings, movie clubs, gaming events (PS4, X Box...), and more opportunities for fun and entertainment! The sky is the limit...

-WE SUPPORT LOCAL... EVERYTHING in our theater is either produced or purchased locally and we LOVE it!!! There’s nothing like small businesses working together to support a shared community.

-GROUP DISCOUNTS! Have a small group wanting to see a movie? Contact us for a special group discount. We believe in giving back and this is just one little way we try.

-Don’t like large crowds and too much noise? No worries! We keep our theater small and we do so ON PURPOSE so you can enjoy your time and maximize your experience.

-Have special needs? We believe everyone should enjoy the movies... that’s why we do things like stock special equipment for the visual and hearing impaired, or offer low volume opportunities for those sensitive to sound.
