9pm | Free The Youngstown summer movie series is back for the 2022 season.

From June 20th through August 15th, a series of movies will be shown on the lawn at Wean Park. The address is 229 E. Front St. Youngstown, Ohio 44503 Each movie is on a Monday and will start at 9PM, if there is a rainout, the movie will be show the next day (Tues) at 9PM. Concession will also be present during the summer movie series. Along with the regular movie schedule, this year we are excited

to have one of our dates at the Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre. The Youngstown Foundation Amphitheatre is Youngstown’s premier outdoor entertainment venue located at 201 South Phelps Street. On July 22nd, the summer movie series will hold its family night, featuring “Space Jam”. The movie will start at 9pm. This year the movie series is sponsored by The City of You, JAC Live, Wean Park, Appleridge Productions and Penguin City Brewing Company. The summer movie series schedule is as follows:

June 20th - “Ghostbusters Afterlife” (2021)
June 27th – “Encanto” (2021)
July 11th – “Karate Kid” (1984)
July 22th – Drive in Movie Night at Youngstown Amphitheater featuring “Space Jam” (1996)
July 25th - “Scrooged” (1988)
August 1st – “Spiderman No Way Home” (2021)
August 8th - "Hocus Pocus" 1993
August 15th – “School of Rock” (2003)

The Youngstown Summer Movie Series is back for 2026, bringing a full lineup of free, family-friendly movies to Downtown Youngstown. The series kicks off Monday, June 22 and continues weekly through August 10 on the Covelli Centre front lawn.

Hosted by Aspasia Lyras, Mario Riccardi, and Hannah Ferguson, the annual outdoor movie tradition invites the community to gather under the stars for a shared summer experience filled with nostalgia, fun, and connection.

All movies begin at 9:00 PM. In the event of rain, screenings will be moved to the following evening.

June 22 – Minecraft (2025)
June 29 – Men in Black (1997)
July 6 – Superman (2025)
July 13 – Good Burger (1997)
July 20 – How to Train Your Dragon (2025, Live Action)
July 27 – Free W***y (1993)
August 3 – Frankenweenie (2012)
August 10 – Lilo & Stitch (2025, Live Action)
The series will take place on the Covelli Centre front lawn, located at 229 E. Front Street in Downtown Youngstown.

Concessions will be provided by the Youngstown Rayen Early College National Honor Society, offering guests snacks and refreshments throughout the series.

The Youngstown Summer Movie Series is made possible thanks to the generous support of community sponsors, including The City of Youngstown, Wean Park, JAC Management Group, Appleridge Productions, and Penguin City Brewing Co.

Guests are encouraged to bring blankets, lawn chairs, and friends to enjoy this free community event.
