Als nächstes stellen wir euch Lilly Thurner vor! ✧˖°.🕊️💋🫂✧˖°
Lilly leitet heuer zum ersten Mal alleine das Rahmenprogramm des Festivals. Sie konnte auf verschiedenen Festivals wie zum Beispiel dem Tricky Women / Tricky Realities in Wien oder dem Kuki und dem Interfilm in Berlin bereits andere Praxiserfahrung sammeln. Lilly ist seit 2022 Teil des Youki-Teams und hat von der Nightline-Kuration bis hin zur Moderation und dem Filmwettbewerbsteam schon vieles gemacht.
Neben ihrer Leidenschaft für Kulturarbeit studiert sie im Bachelor Politikwissenschaft in Wien, wo sie auch seit vier Jahren lebt. Sie liebt Filme, in denen es ums gemeinsame Mädchensein, Skaten und Fußball geht, schöne alte Friedhöfe und Popkultur. Ihr ist die Arbeit mit Kindern und Jugendlichen besonders wichtig, weil man von ihnen einfach so viel Cooles und Spannendes lernen kann.

This year, Lilly Thurner is head of the festival’s side and educational program on her own for the first time. She has already gained practical experience at various festivals, such as Tricky Women / Tricky Realities in Vienna, and Kuki and Interfilm in Berlin. Lilly has been part of the Youki team since 2022 and has already taken on a wide range of roles, from curating the Nightline programme to hosting events and working on the film competition team.
As well as her passion for cultural work, she is studying for a bachelor’s degree in political science in Vienna, where she has lived for the past four years. She loves films about girlhood, skating and football, beautiful old cemeteries and pop culture. Working with children and young people is particularly important to her, because there is simply so much cool and exciting stuff to learn from them.
