Future Fantastic Film Prize winners? Our shorts packages are always a program highlight and this year was no different, with stacked showcases earlier this week in Melbourne and Sydney!

Thanks to everyone who came out in support of the future of Australian genre filmmaking (and watched some scary good short films).

Five 4K restorations. Seven spine-tingling J-Horror classics. One weekend only.

Feast on 4K restorations of ICHI THE KILLER (2001), DEMONS (A.K.A SHURA, 1971), SU***DE CLUB (2001), UZUMAKI (2000) and DARK WATER (2002). Then enter the nightmarish worlds of early J-Horror icons ONIBABA and TETSUO: THE IRON MAN.

Tonight, we begin our three-day Vampire Weekend with the striking new 4K restoration of Abel Ferrara's THE ADDICTION.

One of FFFA programmer Alexei's top picks of the fest, this nihilistic black-and-white masterpiece sees Lili Taylor as a vampiric doctoral student as she tries to follow the philosophy of a nocturnal comrade and control her thirst for blood.

Vampire Weekend screens from 1-3 May at Lido Cinemas and Ritz Cinemas🩸
