Labor Day Weekend is here and we got a great line-up! A kids centric side and adult horror & comedy on the other screen.

*Just a note, the film BUDDY is not a children's film, its very much an adult R rated horror film. We highly suggest it for horror fans, its unique and original, and nostalgic bloody fun, but not a kids film! There has been some confusion with parents taking their kids unknowingly and we wanted to be clear!

Also opening and having it's OHIO Premiere is the brand new ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES film, Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence. The series started back in 1978. and this is the 5th in the franchise. They are over the top, hilarious horror films with more tomatoe sauce then fake blood! We are excited to be the first theatre to bring it to Ohio.

We also have the 20th Anniversary of Pixar's CARS! Weather your taking your young ones, or reliving it yourself, its a great family film and fun to watch Cars in your car!

We also have the surprise hit Coyote vs Acme back for 1 more weekend!

Our Labor Day Weekend Line-Up for this Friday September 4th though Sunday September 6th!

We are excited to be bringing in Disney's/Pixars CARS for its 20th Anniversary! Supported by the surprise family hit of the summer COYOTE vs ACME!

Screen 2 gets extremely wild with 2 horror comedies, starting off with the new horror film BUDDY. It is insanely bloody, its original, and was shot right here in Ohio.
Following BUDDY will be the Ohio PREMIERE of the brand new film from the cult series ATTACK OF THE KILLER TOMATOES! Attack of the Killer Tomatoes: Organic Intelligence, where this time they take on A.I.!

Last nights Rocky Horror Picture Show event was amazing, special shout out to The Dayton Affair for putting on a great event.

Tonight we are excited to welcome Buckeye Harley-Davidson as we screen the American classic Easy Rider. Followed by Insidious: Out of the Further on screen 1.

R.I.P. to the Icon Tim Curry who sadly passed away at age 80 a few days ago. He brought so many amazing characters to the silver screen including Pennywise from IT, Darkness from LEGEND, Mr. Body from CLUE, the hotel butler from HOME ALONE 2 and obviously Dr. Frank N Furter from the one and only Rocky Horror Picture Show.

TONIGHT is our annual showing of Rocky Horror Picture Show at The Dixie, with a live shadow cast from The Dayton Affair. We are expecting a very big turnout, the weather is perfect, we want you there, we want you loud, dressed up, we want you to sing your hearts out more than ever.

We are also very excited to be brining in the new looney tunes movie COYOTE VS ACME staring John Cena to The Dixie this weekend. A great movie for the whole family.

Screen 1's schedule will change each night! Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday night featuring a live shadow cast from The Dayton Affair. Arrive early for the one and bring a chair to get up close!

On Saturday we are excited to welcome back Buckeye Harley-Davidson with a special screening of the classic biker film Easy Rider. Insidious: Out of the Further will be the co-feature each night.

And on Sunday Insidious will jump back to the 8:30 pm spot for its last screening at The Dixie Drive-In.

What a great weekend here at the Dixie that was actually kicked off this past Thursday with a screening of a new movie made by local Dayton artists.
Over 200 cars came out to support and even stuck around for a Q & A after with the filmmakers. We want to congratulate and thank the DEATHWOODS crew for making a great horror film and for all the amazing people that came out!
