Built in 1967, the Tibbs Drive-In is the last standing drive-in of Indianapolis proper. All sound is now transmitted via shortwave radio. Bringing a portable radio is suggested if you plan on sitting outside of your vehicle. Please show up at least an hour prior to show time to ensure the best possible parking experience. Friday and Saturday nights can be very busy, be prepared. Bring a little cash to help keep lines short.

Hope y’all are having a lovely Memorial Day weekend! Wanted to get ahead of a few phone calls and let you know that we ARE open this evening. Gates at 8pm! Also we’re giving away this camp chair love seat / Ion Pathfinder / pirate ghost blanket (definitely a pirate and not a mushroom, there has been some debate) combo tonight. Each concession transaction over 5$ gets a raffle ticket. (You can also purchase raffle tickets for 2$ each). We’ll post the winning number inside at 11pm and announce it at intermissions.

We wanted to give you a heads up that the movie Obsession is pretty darkly lit. Here is what the Google is saying about it: Visuals and Lighting- Rather than being a nuisance, the film's dim lighting is praised as a stylistic triumph. The director frequently keeps the possessed Nikki in dark, shadowy corners, leaving her face in silhouette so you can barely make out her expressions. Viewers love that this forces their imagination to fill in the blanks, making the scares and the character herself feel like a creeping monster.

We'll let you decide. Just know it’s dark movie, and it sounds like it’s that way on purpose. Its not a projection issue. 🙂. We are going to start the movie 10 minutes later at 9:20 on Sat and Sun to maximize ambient darkness to see if that helps some.
