Employee Spotlight:
Meet Rowynn

Rowynn is a senior from Streamwood, IL majoring in Forensic Investigation with an emphasis in Medicolegal Death Investigation. This is her fifth semester of staff! Her favorite thing about working for CPR is connecting with students on campus. One campus tradition she thinks everyone should experience is homecoming, and her favorite CPR event so far has been nostalgia night!

One thing on Rowynn's bucket list is skydiving out of an airplane. One thing she can't live without is sushi. If she had to sing a song for karaoke it would be "Mr. Brightside." A fun fact about Rowynn is that she won Homecoming Royalty this past year! If she won $5,000 the first thing she would do is buy a new motorcycle. If she could give her younger self one piece of advice it would be "YOLO!"

Rowynn’s positive attitude and willingness to support those around her make her an invaluable part of our team. She consistently goes above and beyond to help others succeed and brings a strong sense of teamwork to everything she does. We are grateful for all the work she has done while on staff, and we cannot wait to see what she accomplishes in her future career!

This weekend we celebrated three incredible CPR seniors who have helped make UW-Platteville feel like home for so many students 💙🧡🎓

Autumn graduated with her BBA in Marketing after 4 years with CPR. Through AMA, CPR, and the BILSA Student Advisory Board, she helped create countless campus memories and experiences. After graduation, she will begin her next chapter as a Marketing Coordinator at Dubuque Window and Door Co.. Her advice to incoming freshmen: “Do not take the time for granted, it goes by WAY too fast. Get involved and do what makes you happy.”

Rabeka graduated with a degree in Agribusiness with a Marketing and Communication emphasis after 2.5 years with CPR. Between working events, traditions like the lighting of the M, and graduating in just 3 years, Rabeka truly made the most of her time at Platteville. After graduation, she will begin working at Community State Bank. Her advice to incoming freshmen: “Put yourself out there. The sooner you make friends, the sooner Platteville will feel like your home away from home.”

Ashley graduated with a degree in Marketing and a minor in Human Resources after 4 years with CPR. Alongside serving as President of Women’s Club Volleyball and being involved in AMA and serving as the Sigma Pi Sweetheart, Ashley helped shape campus experiences through years of events and Welcome Weekends. One of her proudest accomplishments was graduating Summa Cum Laude, and she is most excited to get married next summer! Her advice to incoming freshmen: “Take every opportunity you have and never take the time you have for granted.”

Thank you all for the impact you have made on CPR and the UW-Platteville community. We are so proud of you and cannot wait to see what comes next ✨

Employee Spotlight:
Meet Libbie!

Libbie is a junior from Green Bay, Wisconsin majoring in Agriculture Education with a minor in Agribusiness. This is her second semester of staff. Her favorite thing about working for CPR is designing orange boards and banners. One campus tradition she thinks everyone should experience is the lighting of the M! Libbie is currently working on Book Bingo which is happening Friday, May 15 at 6p.m. in Karrmann Library!

If Libbie had to sing a song for karaoke it would bee Mamma Mia or Dancing Queen by ABBA. One thing on her buck list in swimming with whale sharks. One word she's use to describe herself is "vivacious." A TV show she watches over and over again is Outer Banks. Her favorite CPR event so far has been Ag Day on Campus, and something she's learned from working here is all the small details that go into planning an event. If Libbie could give her younger self one piece of advice it would "to push yourself out of your comfort zone!"

Libbie’s outgoing personality brings positivity and energy to our team. She is always willing to connect with others and make those around her feel welcome. We are happy to have her on our team! Keep up the great work, Libbie!
